Men’s and Women’s Soccer Swept By Pima

TUCSON, Ariz. -- It was a tough Tuesday night for the Yavapai College soccer programs as both the men and women fell in Tucson, Arizona, to the Pima Community College Aztecs.

Women's Game
The women's soccer squad took the field first against the No. 9-ranked Aztecs and were shutout by a score 4-0, dropping its record to 3-5 on the season. 

The Roughriders return to action Saturday at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott against Cochise College at 3 p.m.

Men's Game
The men got off to a quick start as sophomore defender Jakob Larson scored his third goal of the season in the second minute of the match. The No. 2-ranked Aztecs followed up with the tying goal in the eleventh minute and scored twice in the second half to bring the final score to 3-1, dropping the Roughriders season record to 4-3. 

Yavapai men's soccer's next match is scheduled for next Tuesday at Paradise Valley in Phoenix, Arizona, at 3:30 p.m.
