PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- The Yavapai College women's soccer team fell to 3-4 overall on the season with a Saturday night loss to No. 20-ranked Arizona Western by a score of 3-0. 

After exchanging possessions, with few scoring opportunities throughout the first 30 minutes, the Matadors took a 1-0 lead with 11:39 to go in the first half on a rebound off of a corner kick. 

Heading into halftime up 1-0, Arizona Western ballooned its advantage to 2-0 with 31:43 left to go in the second half on a perfectly placed shot from about 25 yards out. 

With the game in hand, the Matadors added another goal with less than ten minutes to play to bring the final score to 3-0.
