The Roughrider softball team bounced back with a shutout victory Wednesday afternoon over Trinity Valley Community College, TX, 5-0.
 
Emily Dix was stellar in the circle throwing the complete game shutout. Dix struck out 7 batters and scattered 5 hits.
 
YC scored single runs in the second and fourth innings and added three insurance runs in the top of the 7^th.
 
Kayla Rodgers and Mikaela Payne were each 3 for 4. Miki Berg was 2 for 4
 
Yavapai plays the loser of the #1 Salt Lake/#8 San Jacinto, TX. The winner advances to Thursday. The loser will be eliminated.
