The 2021 Soccer season came to an end on Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City. The Roughriders fell to Salt Lake Community College, 2-1. Salt Lake advances to the NJCAA National Tournament.
 
The Roughriders fell behind early when the Bruins scored at the 4:47 mark. 15 minutes later Salt Lake scored another goal. The score was 2-0 at halftime.
 
YC came out strong in the second half going on the offensive. At the 62 minute mark Iann Topete found the net on a helper from Christopher Cornn.
 
Yavapai outshot the Bruins 13 to 12. Hudson Bodily had 3 saves in goal.
 
The Roughriders finish the season with a 9-3-1 overall record, share of the ACCAC Division I regular season title and an NJCAA Region I Division Championship.
