PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Yavapai College Women's Soccer team fell 6-0 Tuesday afternoon on the road against the No. 3-ranked (and defending national champion) Phoenix College Bears. With the loss, Yavapai is now 7-9 overall on the season and 4-4 in ACCAC matches. 

The Roughriders kept it close in the first half and went into the break down just 1-0 after some great defense and nice saves from freshman goalkeeper (also two-time defending ACCAC Goalkeeper of the Week) Lauryn Mayhan. 

After the break, however, the Bears took control of the time of possession and knocked in five-consecutive goals to bring the final score to 6-0.
