Yavapai College scored the first three goals of the match in a 3-1 victory over Otero Junior College, Colorado, Saturday night in Prescott Valley. YC is now 2-0 on the young season. This was the season opener for Otero. The Roughriders are now 2-0-0 all-time against the Rattlers. Yavapai beat Otero in the 2013 West District Finals at Ken Lindley Field to advance to the NJCAA National Tournament.

The game will kick off at 7:00 PM. YC returns to the friendly confines on Saturday, August 31^st hosting Phoenix College. The match will begin at 6:00 PM at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley.
