Yavapai College snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-0 road victory Thursday night over Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler. Yavapai improves their overall record to 9-3-0 and 2-2-0 in ACCAC action. Chandler-Gilbert falls to 7-4-1 on the year and 2-2-1 in conference play. At no time in their storied history has Yavapai had a 3-game losing streak and only on only 3 occasions have the Roughriders experienced a 2-game losing streak.

The Roughriders will have their Prescott home opener on Saturday, October 5^th hosting Mesa Community College. YC looks to avenge a 1-0 loss to the Thunderbirds  last month.
Saturday's match will begin at 6:00 PM at Ken Lindley Field. Five of the Roughriders final six games will be played at home.
