The 2019 Yavapai College soccer season came to an abrupt halt Wednesday afternoon with a 1-0 overtime loss to Pima Community College in the NJCAA Region I Playoffs. YC concludes the season with a 15-4-0 record and their 28
th ACCAC crown. Pima advances to the NJCAA Region I Championship game with a record of 14-3-1.

The Roughrider were seeking their 65
th victory over the Aztecs and their 110
th playoff win but Pima scored the lone goal in the 100
th minute to advance.

Pima will play host to Arizona Western College, winners over Phoenix College Wednesday Night 3-2 in overtime.
The Yavapai College soccer program will now move forward to 2020 when they begin their 32nd season of intercollegiate soccer. Yavapai College will be the official host for the NJCAA Men's Division One National Tournament beginning November 15, 2020. The seven-time national champions previously hosted the 2014 and 2017 national events.
