In a battle of JUCO powerhouses, 7-time NJCAA National Champions Yavapai College defeated the defending NJCAA National Champions, Pima Community College, 2-1, in front of a capacity crowd on Homecoming weekend at Ken Lindley Field Saturday afternoon. Yavapai improves their record on the year to 14-3-0 and moves into a tie for first place with a 7-2 in ACCAC mark. Pima falls to 11-3-1 overall and 7-2-0 in the conference standings.
