Soccer Earns Second Straight Shutout Win

Yavapai College Soccer completed a 3-game home stand with a 6-0 victory over Gateway Community College Saturday night at Ken Lindley Field. Yavapai improves their overall record to 12-3-0 and 5-2-0 in ACCAC play. Gateway remains winless on the season with an 0-14-0 record and 0-7-0 in conference action.

Yavapai concludes the 3-game home stand earning 9 points in the conference standings. YC continues conference play on Thursday, October 17th at Arizona Western College in Yuma. Kick-off will be at 7:00 PM. The Roughriders return home on Saturday, October 19th against the defending National Champions, Pima Community College. Game time will be at 3:00 PM at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott.
 
The 1st annual Homecoming weekend will be October 17-19. The 2019 Roughrider Hall of Fame inductions will take place on Saturday the 19th at 11:00 AM at Hotel St. Michael. Former baseball coach Dave Dangler, former softball coach Stacy Iveson, former women's basketball player Julie Hanks and the 2009 National Championship softball will be inducted.
