On day 2 of the Dalton Overstreet Invitational Yavapai College only had 1 match on the schedule. College of Southern Nevada challenged Yavapai but the Roughriders won by scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-22. 

The offense was led by freshman Kennedy Wright with 12 kills while hitting .375. Sophomores Lacie Tenney and Pilar Daugherty were strong at the net posting 3 total blocks and 2 total blocks respectively. Freshman libero Heather Wanninger was the only Roughrider with double digit kills posting 10. 

With the win Yavapai improves to 6-1 on the season. On the final day of the Dalton Overstreet Invitational Yavapai will take on their 4th nationally ranked team in New Mexico Military Institute who is currently ranked #13. the match is scheduled for 10:00 am. The Roughriders will conclude their play in the tournament at 4:00 pm as they take on New Mexico JC.
