On Wednesday at Scottsdale CC when the two remaining unbeaten teams in the ACCAC met the Fighting Artichokes came away with a 3-0 victory. The final scores 21-25, 18-25, 19-25.The Roughriders now sit in 2nd place overall in the ACCAC and hold a 2 match lead over Arizona Western College for the top spot among the DI teams.

The Roughriders offense was ineffective as the team hit a measly .074 for the match with only 30 kills, 20 errors, on 136 attempts.

Yavapai will travel to Yuma, AZ to play the Lady Matadors from Arizona Western College on Friday at 7:00 pm and again on Saturday at 3:00 pm. The Roughriders will be home again for Sophomore Night and the Cactus Battle Against Cancer on Wednesday October 30th against Eastern Arizona College.
